| 40-60 Caliber; 60% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 28'' barrel, 40-60 Winchester Model 1876, lever action rifle, has a 28-1/2" Round barrel mounted with an original Winchester adjustable ladder rear sight and blade front sight. The bore is good. The top of the barrel is stamped with Cal 40-60 and Winchester's - Repeating Arms. New Haven CT. King's Improvement - Patented - March 29, 1866. October 16, 1850. The Walnut butt stock with crescent butt plate, and forend are attached to the thinning and spotted receiver. The upper tang is stamped with Model 1876, and the lower tang is stamped with serial number 58787. This rifle is in good condition with mild handling marks on the forend, and buttstock. The length of pull is 13", overall length is 48-3/4" Antique manufactured in 1887., s/n 587xx |
