| 44 WCF; 75% blue, poor bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in 1888. The octagon barrel has a blade front sight and a buckhorn rear sight. The top of the barrel has the two line Winchester address, and .44 WCF The finish on the barrel has turned brown and the and it has edge wear. The receiver still has faint case color showing. The buttplate has silvered out. The stock has several handling marks and is quite worn. The forearm is a special order item or a custom musket style forearm. Overall good to VG condition. The bore is poor.The action works well., s/n 219xx |
