| 40-65 Winchester; 10% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 25 1/2'' barrel, Manufactured in 1894, this rifle has full length magazine tube, fixed post front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight. The top of the barrel is stamped with a 2-line Winchester address and 40-65 WCF. Upper tang is marked with, -MODEL 1886-. 2-line patent info and serial number behind trigger on lower tang. The walnut stock has expected mild nicks, dings and scratches but is free of any cracks and is fitted with crescent butt. A very nice example., s/n 866xx |
