| 30 CAL; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 LEVER ACTION RIFLE MADE IN 1908 IN VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION. THE RIFLE RETAINS APPROX 85% OF ITS ORIGINAL BLUING. THE BLUING ON THE BARREL IS EXCELLENT. THE HIGH POLISH BLUING ON THE RECEIVER SHOWS NUMEROUS LIGHT SCRATCHES ALONG WITH SOME LIGHT FRECKLING. THE HEAVIEST FINISH WEAR IS ON THE LEVER AND REAR TANG. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH LIGHTLY WORN BUT STILL VERY GOOD RIFLING. THE WALNUT BUTSTOCK AND FOREARM ARE SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS LIGHT SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS WITH A CHECKERED STEEL BUTTPLATE. THE ACTION IS SMOOTH AND TIGHT., s/n 590xx |
