| 30-06 Cal; 50% blue, fair bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1915. Original blue finish and walnut stock. Stamped on the left side of the receiver with the two-line Winchester adress and patent dates. The top of the receiver is stamped with the Winchester oval proof. Ramped fixed front sight. The receiver is fitted with a Redfield aperature sight. The top of the barrel chamber has two plugged holes. Sling swivels have been installed on the butt and forend. The stock has been cut for a vented recoil pad, with the end of the buttplate tang retained to fill the recess. The metal finish shows wear and thinning. The wood has some small dings and scratches. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling however is dark throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 954xx |
