| 405 WCF; fair bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1904. Patina metal, original walnut stock with shotgun butt and original hard rubber buttplate. Round barrel with fixed front sight. Rear barrel sight removed with dovetail block installed. Receiver mounted Lyman rear adjustable peep sight. The barrel is stamped on the left side "NICKEL STEEL BARREL/ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER". The left side of the receiver is stamped with the Winchester address and patent dates in two lines. The upper tang is stamped "MODEL 1895/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK". Original ebony forend tip. Used, mechanically fine. The bore has some rust and darkness throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 472xx |
