| .401 CAL.; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1912. Original blued finish and plain walnut stock and forend. Beaded fixed front sight. Original elevation adjustable rear sight. Original factory 4-shot detachable box magazine. Winchester oval proofs located on top of the barrel and receiver. Receiver tang is marked "WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. / MOD. 1910 S.L.". Winchester address and patent dates located on the left side of the barrel. The metal finish remains bright, showing edge and high area wear and scattered light handling scratches. Wood has small handling dings overall with some varnish wear mainly on the forend. Original checkered hard rubber buttplate with Winchester Trade Mark logo shows very light wear. The bore is bright with sharp rifling., s/n 90xx |
