The barrel is stamped with WINCHESTER - MODEL 70 - .338 WIN MAGNUM / Made in New Haven Conn. USA - Winchester Proof Steel and the Win. Proof Mark on top of the barrel at the receiver. The receiver has on the right side is the serial number. And on the left is WINCHESTER / Trade Mark The bolt is engine turned. The stock is in excellent condition with right handed cheekpiece. The wrist and forearm are checkered. The stock and the barrel have sling mounts. The stock also is in excellent condition with a Winchester rubber cushion butt plate.
