| 45 Caliber; 90% blue, fair bore, good stock, 38'' barrel, CIRCA 1850 C. WING FAYETTE COUNTY INDIANA (Charles Wing, Jackson, IN) 1847 -51 On the topflat of the barrel it's stamped CWING. The lock plate and hammer are engraved but have some patina. The trigger guard and the butt plate are brass. The stock has two cheek pads and has a two inch crack at the toe and has been repaired. Nice looking rifle. Set trigger is broken off along with a missing chip behind the lock/hammer. Both pieces come with the rifle. |
