| 12 Gauge; 95% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 29 1/8'' barrel, Pre-WW2 manufacture in Germany. Original blue finish barrels, bright frame with oak leaf and game scene engraving, mounted in fine checkered burl walnut. Jewelled breech face. Marked on the left side of the frame "PATENT W. COLLATH" and on the right side "FRANKFURT A.O.". Gold line inlay around the barrel chambers. Gold inlay on top of the barrel chambers "WITTENER" and "EXCELSIOR". 2 9/16 inch chambers, upper barrels are Full and Modified choke, bottom barrel Full choke. Bone underlever and grip cap. Bakelite trigger guard and buttplate. Full grip stock with cheekrest and a 14.25 inch LOP. Sling swivel eyes present, no swivels installed. The butt toe is a replaced section, a well done repair though the grain does not match. Mechanically fine and clean. C&R/FFL, s/n 167xx |
