| 12 GAUGE; very good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in England c.1930. Rebrowned Damascus barrels with 2 3/4" chambers and Improved Modified chokes. Concave smooth barrel rib with brass bead sight. Casehardened boxlock scalloped action with fine Englsih scroll and game scene engraving. Double triggers. Double underlugs iwht extractor. Checkered walnut stock, English straight grip with a 14.5" LOP, serrated horn buttplate. Matching serial numbers. Used, old reblue finish on trigger guard and bottom plate. Action has been cleaned bright. Wood shows handling with worn but well defined checkering. Buttplate has chipping at the toe end. Mechanically fine with good lockup. Bright bores. Import marked., s/n 47xx |
