| 12 GAUGE; 90% blue, fair bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in England c.1895. Older reblue finished steel barrels with 2 9/16" chambers. Chokes gauge Cylinder and Improved Cylinder. Smooth concave barrel rib with silver bead sight. Light engraved rib "W.S. Needler 27 Silver St Hull". Casehardened frame and locks, aged mostly light gray patina, with English scroll engraving, both locks engraved "W.S. NEEDLER". Dolls head rib extension, double underlugs, extractor. Wood shows handling with worn checkering. Chipping around the edges of the forearm and end of the trigger guard tang. Actions function fine and barrel lockup is good. The left bore has corrosion ahead of the chamber. Antique., s/n N10xx |
