| WW1 U.S. Army Uniform grouping of Master Aviation Electrician Albert E. Oberg (1892-1981) of Malmo, MN. Who served in France with the 466 Aero Squadron. Group includes his coat, breeches, overseas cap (with his name written inside) puttees, dog tags and overcoat. Unit History which has a group picture identifying him on page 21, as well as other research. Insignia on the coat includes an Aero Shoulder patch, red discharge stripe, two gold overseas service chevrons and his Master Aviation Electrician chevron. Collar discs are US and AVIATION. Overcoat is the older pattern and has a red discharge stripe, two overseas chevrons and his Master Aviation Electrician rank. |
