| Circa late 19th century. Also known as "knobkerries", a hardwood club with a heavy ball end. 23.25 inch shaft. Ball measures approximately 3.75 inches in diameter. 2.75 inches of tightly braided metal wire wrap under the ball. Weapons such as these were used by the Zulu for the final blow to a wounded ememy and to execute prisoners. Good condition. |
