Ruger P85 (Occasion) 9mm Para Die Ruger P85 wurde 1985 entworfen (Markteinführung 1987) und war der erste Vorstoss von Sturm, Ruger & Co. in den Markt der modernen Double-Action-Dienstpistolen. Sie wurde speziell für die „Joint Service Firearms Trials“ der US-Streitkräfte entwickelt. Die P85 zeichnet sich durch eine extreme, fast übertriebene Robustheit aus, da alle tragenden Teile aus Feinguss (Investment Casting) gefertigt wurden, einer Spezialität des Herstellers Ruger.
