Die dritte Feder, die sich innerhalb der Stange befindet, kontrolliert die Bewegung des Verschlusses, sodass dieser nicht ungebremst auf das Rahmenstück auftrifft. Kürzere Abstandshalter reduzieren den Puffereffekt entsprechend. Unterlegscheiben beeinflussen nur die Pufferkraft (Verschluss vollständig geöffnet).
