Beschreibung
Das Kodiak ist das Ergebnis zahlreicher Feldversuche zweier leidenschaftlicher Survival-Fans. Einfachheit, Robustheit und Komfort waren die Leitlinien für seine Entwicklung.
Die Klinge mit breiter Spitze und Schnitzbereich verfügt weiterhin über einen Nagelzieher oder Haken, um eine Gamelle vom Feuer zu nehmen. In Griffnähe ist eine Reibezone für Feuersteine auf der Oberseite angebracht.
Der hintere Bereich weist eine Sechskantbohrung (für Lanyard), einen Flaschenöffner und einen Heringszieher sowie einen Amboss mit Hammer- und Nussknackerbereich auf. In den Griff ist ein Hohlraum eingearbeitet, um Feuer mit einem Bogen machen zu können.
Das Kodiak wird mit einer schwarzen Lederscheide geliefert. Vertikales und horizontales Tragen ist möglich. Ein abnehmbarer hinterer Riemen gestattet das schnelle Trennen des Etuis vom Gürtel, um das Messer absolut sicher als Hammer oder Nussknacker verwenden zu können. Schwarze Leder Scheide
