Die nächste Evolutionsstufe der MBUS (Magpul Back-Up Sight) Linie, das MBUS 3, vereint die besten Eigenschaften, Stärken und den Wert der ursprünglichen MBUS und MBUS Pro Sights in einem funktionsreichen Back-Up Sight System. Die Ästhetik ist vom MBUS Pro abgeleitet, aber MBUS 3 ist aus schlagfestem Polymer gefertigt, was es leicht und extrem haltbar macht. Es verfügt über die gleiche federgelagerte Technologie wie sein Vorgänger und lässt sich mit einem beidhändigen Druckknopf auslösen. Hergestellt in den USA. Front Sight/KornDeutlich kleiner als das MBUS, ist es zusammengeklappt nur 12 mm hoch, an der breitesten Stelle 35 mm und wiegt mit Hardware gerade mal 25 Gramm. Das MBUS 3 Frontvisier befindet sich in Standard-AR-Höhe und verfügt über eine werkzeuglose Höhenverstellung eines doppelt so breiten, verbesserten Kornträgers wie das MBUS Pro. Rear Sight/DiopterDeutlich kleiner als das MBUS, ist es zusammengeklappt nur 14 mm hoch, an der breitesten Stelle 35 mm und wiegt mit Hardware gerade mal 30 Gramm. Das MBUS 3 Rear Sight befindet sich in Standard-AR-Höhe, wenn es ausgeklappt ist, und verfügt über ein blickwinkeleinstellbares Rapid-Select-Blendensystem.
