| French Infantry Briquette 1817 saber with leather scabbard. Blade has small specks of light pitting throughout. 1/4" crack in the blade about 6" from the tip. Leather pad at the ricasso. Light scratches and surface marks throughout the hilt. The spine of the blade is engraved with "Manufacture Imperiale du Klingenthal Octobre 1811" The leather of the scabbard is in excellent condition. The tip and the mouthpiece have an orange coloration. |
