| Swiss model 1899 bayonet, produced by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. With scabbard and leather frog. Blade is in excellent condition. Left side grip has a heavy gouge and a heavy pressure mark. Pommel has light surface marks. Scabbard has a few light surface marks. Leather frog was made by J. Wyss of Wynau (Bern) in 1923. These bayonets were issued with the 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, 1911 Infantry Rifle, and K11 Carbine. The serial number indicates that this bayonet would have been issued with a 1911 Infantry Rifle produced in 1917. |
