| Richard Burnand, ein englischer Büchsenmacher, wurde 1806 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, geboren. Er absolvierte seine Lehre bei dem bekannten Büchsenmacher John Gardner, dessen Werkstatt sich in der Collingwood Street in Newcastle befand. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss seiner Lehre arbeitete er für Gardner, wurde später dessen Vorarbeiter und übernahm 1840 schließlich dessen Geschäft in der Pilgrim Street 11 in Newcastle. Die Pistole befindet sich in einem, dem Alter entsprechenden, Zustand. Sie ist funktionsfähig. Die Schäftung ist in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Alles weitere auf den Bildern.
