Haenel has been building weapons in Suhl since 1840 - the LR/ONE is their contribution to long-range sport. The hammered barrel measures 600 millimeters with a 20-millimeter diameter and has four grooves; in .223 Rem., it is designed for precision at a distance. The cylinder bolt opens at 60 degrees, keeping the barrel path short - even under a large scope, there is enough space for the hand. The chassis made of aluminum and plastic features a Haenel AR shoulder stock: the cheek rest can be raised by 22 millimeters, the stock cap adjusted by 30 millimeters in both directions, and the thumb rest is reversible on both sides. This allows the weapon to be adapted to the shooter, not the other way around. The direct trigger runs between 900 and 1,100 grams ex works - a value that usually requires retrofitting. The Ergo version features a hollow stock made of glass-fiber-reinforced polymer. It is weather-resistant, symmetrically designed, and equally suitable for right- and left-handed shooters - and it keeps the weight low, which is important for stalking and carrying. Chassis made of aluminum and plastic The Haenel chassis combines aluminum and plastic. It is dimensionally stable, weather-resistant, and provides the rigidity that a precision weapon requires. Direct trigger pull 900 to 1,100 grams Adjustable within this range from the factory. This is a match value - for many serial repeaters, you first have to buy a change trigger for this. Verstellbare AR-Schulterstütze Waistband adjustment up 22 millimeters, stock cap adjustable 30 millimeters, thumb rest convertible on both sides. This allows you to align the grip and eye position with the mounted optics. 3-Stellungs-Schlagbolzensicherung Three positions: secured with locked chamber, secured with free chamber for unloading, and ready to fire. The middle position allows safe unloading without needing to disarm the weapon. Magazine and barrel thread A five-shot magazine is included in the delivery, a ten-shot magazine is available as original accessory. The barrel thread M15x1 accommodates common suppressors. 02 — Technical Specifications Data SheetModellHaenel LR/ONE, .223 Rem. Because .223 is cheaper than .308, has less recoil, and shoots sufficiently flat at common sports distances. With the 600-mm barrel and suitable match ammunition, it allows for very clean work. For longer distances and wind, .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor are the better choice - the LR/ONE is also available in these calibers. Hunting or sport? Clearly, it's for sport. With its weight of around 4.7 kilograms and chassis design, the LR/ONE is a stand-mounted weapon - built for long-range and PRS. Hunting with .223 is only limited and not permitted in all federal states anyway. What is the 3-position safety? Three positions instead of the usual two: secured with locked chamber, secured with free chamber, and ready to fire. The middle position is the practical advantage - you can unload the weapon without first having to disarm it. Which optics fit? A scope with high magnification, reticle in the first focal plane, and fine click adjustment - for example, our Falke 5-30x56 Pro with 0.05 MRAD per click or the MeoPro R6 5-30x56. The weapon does not have an open sight, so an optic is mandatory. We mount and shoot in Zerbst upon request. Which weapon acquisition permit is required? A green firearms possession certificate with prior entry or a valid hunting license.
