For sale is a bolt-action rifle DWM 1908 built by R. Kessler in caliber 9,3x62. The weapon has a new Schmidt and Bender Zenith 1,5x6x42 sight 40 with illuminated point and matching Rusan adapter for scope mounting, mounted using EAW SM. Originally, I acquired this weapon for a hunting trip to Africa, but it was deemed too good for the rough hunting on the African continent. Some modifications have been made to the weapon: the barrel length was shortened to 44cm, fitted with a 15/M1 thread, and subsequently re-fired. Furthermore, the original folding magazine was replaced with a four-round detachable magazine. This magazine was custom-made by Mr. Sven Friedrich for this weapon to increase the ammunition capacity to five rounds. As a result, the weapon repeats extremely smoothly and the cartridge feed runs flawlessly. The original folding magazine can be rebuilt at any time if desired. Then, the capacity is three rounds. Subsequently, the stock was revised by Rolf Schönlein. The weapon has a three-position safety that can be operated silently and an extremely good and dry trigger that breaks at about 700g. The weapon's shooting performance is exceptionally good with lead-free ammunition (MJG) and leaded ammunition (Norma Oryx 15g) for the 9,3x62 caliber, the lethal effect as well.
