| Das Bark River Kephart ist eine Interpretation des Belt Knife nach Horace Kephart einem amerikanischen Reiseschriftsteller und Verfasser von, heute würde man wahrscheinlich sagen Outdoor, Camping und Bushcraft Literatur. Er lebte von 1862 bis 1931. In seinem Werk Camping and Woodcraft schreibt er über das Leben in der Wildnis und über seine Vorstellung des idealen Belt Knife. Kepharts Vorstellungen für das ideale Belt Knife wurden dann auch von den Colclesser Brothers/ Eldorado umgesetzt. Das Bark River Kephart lehnt sich sehr stark an das Original an.
