Es ist die Edelstahlversion des berühmten Modells 19, das von der US Border Patrol, vielen Polizeikräften in den USA (California Highway Patrol, LAPD, FBI) und weltweit (u.a. GIGN) übernommen wurde. Die ersten Serien hatten die Besonderheit, dass die Visiere aus Edelstahl waren, der Lauf mit einem Stift versehen war und die Kammern abgeschrägt waren. Hier in der 4-Zoll-Version, die 1974 hergestellt wurde, ist sie eine elegante, leichte, kompakte und sehr präzise Waffe.
