Suitcase: The SL3 is the first Beretta rifle supplied with a dedicated case and made entirely by hand by our new workshops. Engravings: The rifle can be decorated with 4 different types of engravings: Floral ornament: an ornamental motif in the Renaissance style, adorned with a rich bas-relief Fine English: sophisticated fine English engraving for the most traditional design (on demand) Mirror Polished: Requires hours of hand polishing on every surface. The result is a surprisingly modern look that accentuates the fluid design of this rifle. (on demand) Hunting scenes: the hunting scene reproduces pheasants on the left side, ducks on the right and a partridge on the rocking plate. The perfect engraving for a 12 gauge hunting overlay. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS The new SL3 platform is an elegant and reliable boxlock system designed to deliver the best performance in the field and withstand heavy use. Featuring a unique design, the action of the SL3 offers a perfect action / barrel locking system, increasing the strength and rigidity of the platform. The guns are anchored at three points distinct; hinge pins, lower hooks and locking pins. Opening and closing the rifle will remain smooth and effortless over time. Firing mechanism. Quick and clean trigger thanks to the hammer leaf spring, used in our luxury hunting and competition shotguns. New design of the ejectors which are even more reliable and easy to clean. Canon Optima Bore HP. The main ingredients behind the amazing performance of Beretta Steelium guns are: the proprietary Beretta Tri-Alloy steel (Ni, Cr, Mo) used, deep drilling, cold hammering and vacuum distension. The OptimaBore HP barrel profile has been specially designed to provide excellent groupings with each type of cartridge: lead, steel and other lead substitutes.
