Crafted from hand-folded carbon steel in the traditional way, this Katana features a curved, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard and a long grip, worn with the edge facing upward. The sword is forged using the Honsanmai design, a common pattern for Katana blades. After folding the Damascus steel 12 times, the blade is polished and sharpened before undergoing a special treatment for optimal durability and performance. The tsuka, or handle, is made of wood and lined with real stingray skin before being wrapped in black leather. Two mekugis, or bamboo dowels, are attached to the handle for added stability.
