| Infanteriegewehr, Siam Mod. 45, System Mauser 98, Kal. 8x50R Typ 66. Seltenes Gewehr, Hergestellt im Tokyo Arsenal für Siam (heute Burma?) für die Patrone 8x50R Typ 45 mit Rundkopfgeschoss. Später wurde das Gewehr für die Patrone Typ 66 mit Spitzgeschoss aptiert. Beleg dafür ist die veränderte Visiertangente. Das Jahr 45 nach siamesischer Zeitrechnung entspricht unserem 1903. Die Seriennummer ist in siamesischen Ziffern eingeschlagen. 2 siamesische Zahlen unten am Kornträger, der Putzstock fehlt. Siehe Olsen, Mauser Bolt Rifles, S. 212ff |
