| Stirnschild zum M1916-Stahlhelm Originaler Stirnschild zum deutschen Stahlhelm M1916. Das 2kg schwere, aus 6mm-dickem Stahl gefertigte Bauteil diente als zusätzlicher Schutz gegen Schrapnelle und Schüsse im Fronteinsatz. Der Schild wurde an zwei seitlichen Aufnahmen des Helmes eingehängt und konnte bei Bedarf rasch abgenommen werden. Vollständiger Lederriemen erhalten. Spuren der ursprünglichen Lackierung nicht mehr erkennbar. Anm.: Der Stirnschild gehörte zur ergänzenden Ausrüstung des M1916-Helmes, und wurde somit nicht an einzelne Soldaten ausgehändigt, sondern blieb immer im jeweiligen Graben. Aufgrund seines hohen Gewichts war es vor allem für stationäre Einsätze vorgesehen. Zustand 3 |
