| Beschreibung Französische Ordonnanz 1892, Klingenlänge: 40cm, Holzgriffschalen, grosse Nieten. Im Jahre 1892 wurde ein Karabiner, System Berthier bei der Artillerie eingeführt. Das zugehörige Bajonett hatte eine andere Aufpflanzvorrichtung als das parallel eingesetzte Lebelgewehr 1886/93. Ursprünglich hat das 1892 eine kurze Tülle (bzw. Mündungsring), das sogenannte erste Modell. Diese Tülle wurde beim zweiten Modell zum Griffende hin verlängert. Ab 1917 wurden die ursprünglichen Bakelit-Griffschalen (mit kleinen Nieten befestigt) durch Holzgriffschalen ersetzt, befestigt mit grossen Nieten.
