Die Waffe ist ein indirekter Gasdrucklader welche den Verschluss mittels einer Gasstange antreibt wie bei einem Sturmgewehr 90 oder HK416. Der Schiebeschaft ist Mil-Spec-Norm und verfügt über sechs Positionen für die Längenverstellung. Die Waffe kommt mit einer extrem abriebfesten Ilaflon-Beschichtung.
