Il est doté d'une conception de rotor à flux cyclonique afin d'augmenter le flux d'air à travers le rotor tout en minimisant l'intrusion d'eau et la corrosion. Ce moulinet va assurément faire parler de lui, tan par son look sobre et compact souligné par sa poignée en bois exotique que par ses nombreux points techniques qui feront de lui un des Best Seller de sa catégorie ! Le rotor à flux cyclonique (CFR) a été conçu pour créer un flux d'air 'cyclonique', ce qui augmente considérablement le débit d'air à travers le rotor. Cette conception minutieusement testée permet un temps de séchage beaucoup plus rapide si la bobine est mouillée, ce qui minimise la possibilité de corrosion à travers la bobine. Okuma a redessiné le système de transmission tout en conservant la conception d'une bobine à faible course et à course longue de 30 mm afin de minimiser la masse et le poids.
