Überarbeitete, neu brünierte, halbautomatische Pistole Modell P 38 der Mauserwerke in Oberndorf aus dem Jahre 1944, codiert mit byf 44, im Kaliber 9mm Luger mit der Seriennummer 5049 e. Die überarbeite, neu brünierte Oberfläche der Pistole weist trotz Überarbeitung partiell noch feine Rostnärbchen auf. Der Verschluss weist linksseitig nachstehende Bezeichnung auf; P. 38, den Hersteller codiert byf über 44. Die Seriennummer ist nicht mehr erkennbar. An der rechten Verschlussseite sind noch der Beschuss und eine militärische Abnahme bedingt wahrnehmbar. Am Griffstück befindet sich an der rechten Seite gut erkennbar die Seriennummer 5049 e und daneben die militärische Abnahme stilisierter Adler über WaA 135. Das Laufinnere ist fein narbig und ausgeputzt. Am Laufblock befindet sich an der Vorderseite die Seriennummer 5049 e, und an der linken Seite die militärische Abnahme stilisierter Adler über WaA 135 und der Beschuss Adler HK. Der Verschlussriegel weist an der Unterseite die letzten drei Ziffern der Seriennummer und den zur Seriennummer gehörenden Buchstaben auf (049 e), sowie an der linken Seite den Beschuss Adler HK, auf. Die Waffe besitzt schön erhaltene schwarze originale Mauser - Griffschalen. Das zur Waffe gehörende Magazin stellt ein sehr schön fast neuwertig schwarz grau phosphatiertes P 1 Magazin dar, welches an der linken Korpusseite mit der Walther Schleife über P 1 9 mm bezeichnet ist. Die Waffe befindet sich in einer Holzschatulle für die Walther Sondermodelle und trägt am Deckel die eingeprägte Walther Schleife.

Reworked, newly blued, semi-automatic pistol model P 38 by Mauserwerke in Oberndorf from 1944, coded byf 44, in calibre 9mm Luger with serial number 5049 e. The reworked, newly blued surface of the pistol still shows fine rust pitting in places despite the reworking. The slide has the following designation on the left side; P. 38, the manufacturer coded byf above 44. The serial number is no longer recognisable. The proof mark and a military acceptance mark are still partially visible on the right side of the breech. The serial number 5049 e is clearly visible on the right side of the grip frame and next to it the military acceptance mark of a stylised eagle above WaA 135. The inside of the barrel is finely pitted and cleaned out. On the front of the barrel block is the serial number 5049 e, and on the left side the military acceptance mark stylised eagle above WaA 135 and the proof mark eagle HK. The bolt has the last three digits of the serial number and the letter belonging to the serial number (049 e) on the underside, as well as the proof mark Adler HK on the left side. The weapon has beautifully preserved original black Mauser grip panels. The magazine belonging to the weapon is a very nice almost new black grey phosphated P 1 magazine, which is marked with the Walther ribbon above P 1 9 mm on the left side of the body. The gun is in a wooden case for the Walther special models and bears the embossed Walther ribbon on the lid.
