| Säbel Inf Of 1842/52/61 Zugegeben, dieser einst hochwertige Säbel ist nicht gerade der Brüller, dafür stimmt der Preis. Fabrikat WESTER % C° SOLINGEN. Dieser Fabrikant lieferte qualitativ sehr hochstehende Waffen. Reste der Vergoldung am Griff noch feststellbar. Reste von Sigolin sind noch in den Griffornamenten drin. Die Rochenhaut am Griff ist vollständig, die Wicklung dagegen ist etwas locker und stellenweise verrutscht. Der Bügel mit Plateau wackelt etwas. Die Ornamente an der Klinge - insbesondere das Schweizerkreuz im Strahlen-kranz - sind noch sehr gut sichtbar, in den Ornamenten ist noch "Solingen" in Schnurschrift eingetragen. Die Scheide ist intakt, weist an einer Stelle aber im Leder eine Delle auf. Die Ledernaht ist an einer Stelle kurz offen. Die Klinge hat eine schöne Patina, wurde aber traktiert und weist 19 Scharten auf, dank hervorragender Qualität des Klingen-stahls hat es keine tiefen Rostnarben. Klingenlänge 75,5 cm. |
