Ideal fürs Wandern, Camping, Survival, Bushcraft, Preppen, Mountainbiken, Töfftouren oder einfach als Lebensmittelvorrat für Krisen- und Notfälle. Die Rationen sind neu, ungeöffnet und wurden stets kühl und trocken gelagert. MHD 2022, 1.45kg Die US Hurricane Emergency Ration ist eine in sich geschlossene, 24h Notfall Feld-Ration, die in den Vereinigten Staaten bei Naturkatastrophen wie Hurricanes oder Überschwemmungen ausgegeben werden. Sie sind stark an die amerikanischen Armeerationen (MRE) angelehnt, insbesondere der First Strike Ration. Die Hurricane Emergency Rations enthalten aber neben leichten und lang haltbaren Lebensmitteln für 24 Stunden auch Artikel wie Handwärmer, Chemlights oder Flüssigseife für den Gebrauch im Krisenfall. Neben zwei Hauptgerichten enthält jede Packung Snacks wie z.B. Brot, Tortillas, Cracker, Erdnussbutter, Schmelzkäse, Marmelade, Nüsse, Cookies oder Kuchen sowie Heiss- und Kaltgetränke, Zucker, Salz einen Löffel, Kaugummi und Zundhölzer . Für die Zubereitung braucht es nichts weiter als ein wenig Wasser. In jeder Ration befindet sich ein Heizelement (Flameless Ration Heater), welches durch Wasser aktiviert wird. So kann man das Hauptgericht und Getränke flammlos und ohne Rauch erhitzten. Der Verkauf erfolgt zu Sammel- oder Dekozwecken, da die Beschriftung nicht den schweizerischen Vorschriften entspricht (Nährwertangaben nicht auf Aussenverpackung).
