Das Messer ist mit einem Safespin-System ausgestattet. Im Klartext bedeutet dies, dass das Messer vor dem Öffnen mit dem seitlichen Knopf entriegelt muss. Anschließend lässt sich der Folder mit einer fließenden Handbewegung ausklappen oder mit den Fingern öffnen, indem die Klinge mithilfe der Rillen rund um den Scharnierpunkt gedreht wird. Der seitliche Knopf rastet ein, wenn sich die Klinge in geöffnetem Zustand in der richtigen Position befindet. Das Messer hat einen rutschfesten Gummigriff, an dessen Ende sich ein Glasbrecher und Gurtschneider befindet.
