| Occasion Waffe Die Webley Mk VI im Kaliber .455 Webley ist die letzte und bekannteste Ausführung der britischen Ordonnanzrevolverreihe, die ab 1915 eingeführt wurde. Ursprünglich mit einem 6-Zoll-Lauf (152 mm) ausgestattet, wurde sie für den Einsatz im Ersten Weltkrieg konzipiert und zeichnete sich durch ihre Top-Break-Konstruktion mit automatischem Hülsenauswurf aus - ideal für schnelles Nachladen unter Gefechtsbedingungen. Die Variante mit verkürztem Lauf - oft auf etwa 2 bis 4 Zoll reduziert - entstand später durch Umbauten für den zivilen Markt oder verdeckten Einsatz. Diese "Snubnose"-Versionen behielten die robuste Mechanik und das markante Design bei, verloren jedoch etwas an Präzision zugunsten besserer Führigkeit. Die Gesamtlänge schrumpft dabei auf etwa 200-230 mm, je nach Lauflänge, während die Trommel weiterhin 6 Patronen im kräftigen .455 Webley Kaliber fasst. Trotz der geringeren Lauflänge bleibt der Rückstoß durch das hohe Geschossgewicht spürbar, aber kontrollierbar. Die verkürzte Mk VI ist heute ein begehrtes Sammlerstück - nicht nur wegen ihrer historischen Bedeutung, sondern auch wegen ihres charaktervollen Erscheinungsbildes und der typischen britischen Ingenieurskunst. Ein Revolver mit Geschichte, der auch in kompakter Form Eindruck hinterlässt.
