Der Taurus 672 ist ein robuster Double-Action-Revolver im Kaliber .357 Magnum. Durch seine solide Stahlkonstruktion, die ausgewogene Gewichtsverteilung und die zuverlässige Mechanik bietet er ein angenehmes Schussverhalten und eine hohe Alltagstauglichkeit. Neben Patronen im Kaliber .357 Magnum können auch Patronen im Kaliber .38 Special verschossen werden. Der Revolver verfügt über eine ausschwenkbare Trommel mit Sternausstosser, wodurch leere Hülsen schnell ausgeworfen werden können. Der Double-Action-/Single-Action-Abzug ermöglicht sowohl das Schiessen über den Spannabzug als auch mit vorgespanntem Hahn.
