| 450 Caliber; 85% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 5 7/8'' barrel, Commercial production double action solid frame Adams cartridge revolver with original blued finish and checkered walnut grip. Octagon barrel with dovetailed front sight. Integral V notch rear sight. Matching serial number cylinder. Matching number visible on the trigger and loading gate. The right side of the frame is stamped with the oval Adams Patent and A trade mark logos. Standard proofing of the period. Most finish loss is on the trigger guard and grip tangs, as well as some edges. There are scattered light scratches and a small ding or two from handling. The bore and cylinder chambers have shine, showing rather light corrosion. Mechanically in fine condition, cylinder locks up well. Antique., s/n 179xx |
