| 12 Gauge; 60% blue, very good bore, good stock, 29 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in England circa 1895. Original blue finish steel barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. The finish on the barrels shows wear and some handling, most of the finish loss on the sides above the forearm. There are some minor dings on both barrels, and there is what appears to be a weak area on the bottom of the right barrel about 14 inches from the muzzle, where the barrel may be beginning to split. A slight shadow can be seen in the bore is the same area. The frame has turned patina with traces of case color. The wood shows some wear and handling. The actions work fine. There is a small bit of up/down barrel play in lockup. SOLD AS IS for parts or display. Antique., s/n 2xx |
