| Original walnut flat board shoulder stock for the LP.08 Artillery model Luger pistols. Some of these stocks were purchased by Finland between the wars, when they adopted and acquired DWM produced 30 caliber Lugers as the M/23 pistol for standard issue. Many M/23 pistol holsters have provision for carrying these stocks on the back. This example is in very good condition, strong blue on the attaching iron, weakening straw color on the locking lever. The top of the iron is serial numbered 7803 and has a cancelled number 1972. Normally, other than the occasional serial number added by an armorer to match a certain pistol, these were not marked in any special way. |
