| 8x50mmR; poor bore, fair stock, 30.25'' barrel, Metal has no remaining finish, wood has been sanded. CEWG stamp on top of the receiver chamber. Serial number located on the left side of the barrel. Proof and date are not legible on top of the barrel chamber. The bore is rough with visible rifling. The stock has a crack on the left side running forward from the receiver tang. Both sides of the buttstock have hand carved markings and decoration which may be Arabic. Rifle is complete but shows lots of wear. Antique, s/n 70xxU |
