Top barrel flat marked "BALL & WILLIAMS/Worchester Mass.". Left side flat marked "MERWIN & BRAY AGT'S/NEW YORK". Right flat marked "BALLARD'S PATENT/NOV. 5, 1861". Sling swivels on barrel band and bottom of the buttstock. Light surface rusting on metal. Bore has shine and strong rifling, showing areas of pitting. S/N 4272. Antique., s/n 42xx |
