THE RIFLE APPEARS TO BE A TROPHY RIFLE FOR THE WINNER OF A MATCH AS NOTED IN THE TWO PLAQUES IN THE RIGHT BUTT. THE BLUING ON THE BARREL AND RECEIVER SHOWS VERY LIGHT WEAR. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH LIGHTLY WORN GOOD RIFLING WITH LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE BEECHWOOD STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES. THE RIGHT BUTT BEARS TWO PLAQUES.
