| 243 Winchester; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Czech miltary issue VZ24 Mauser rifle, custom sporterized. Reblued metal. Original military stepped barrel has been lined for 243. Receiver drilled and tapped with a Redfield one piece steel twist off base installed. Stock cut with the forend and grip checkered, retaining the handguard and lower band, with the swivel removed. Original inverted V front sight, tangent rear sight. Stocks disc and sling swivel holes filled. The bolt handle has been modified for scope clearance with the top of the knob flattened and checkered. Low scope safety installed on the shroud. Bolt body has no legible serial number, extractor is numbered and non-matching. Receiver has a 1939 date on top of the chamber. Bore is bright and sharp. British commercial proofing on the bottom of the barrel. Our import mark., s/n BR8xx |
