| 22 LR; excellent bore, fair stock, 29'' barrel, P prefix serial number, manufactured c.1950. Metal has had the blued finish removed and has been polished bright, some markings faint. Believe the stock is the original walnut which has been heavily coated with black metallic paint. Visible cracks on each side of the grip behind the action. Modern aluminum accessory rail fitted into the bottom of the forend with a hand stop/target swivel attachment added. Parker Hale FS22 globe front sight with aperture insert. Parker Hale PH7A fully adjustable rear sight with selective aperture. Adjustable plastic buttplate. Stock grip has a small chip in the finish on the right side. Metal has scattered scratches with strange lines of corrosion on top of the barrel chamber and receiver breech. Action functions fine, bright sharp bore. Import marked., s/n P659xx |
