| Original Bearskin parade hat, 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada, manufactured by Aegean San Francisco. Exact age unknown but appear to be 1940s era. Complete, leather swear band and chin strap. Wire in good condition. Wool red and white checkered band. Shows some wear around the edge and the leather sweat band is beginning to detach in a few areas. Soiling on the white feather plume. Has been stored with mothballs so has that smell. Over all very good condition., |
