| 8x58mmRD; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 30.25'' barrel, Mfr. 1871. The front sight is a ramped blade, and the rear has one fixed and one folding leaf . The top of the barrel has Crown/C proof and the right side has the conversion date 16058/95. The receivers right side has the Crown/C and the date 1871 the left side has the serial number. Matching serial numbers on the forend, buttstock, breechblock and hammer. The action functions however the hammers full cock notch is worn. The metal has some surface rusting. Birchwood stock shows finish wear., s/n 57xx |
