| 12 GAUGE; fair bore, poor stock, 29 3/8'' barrel, Underlever break action double shotgun with browned Damascus barrels, 2 9/16 Inch chambers, worn chokes are open. Grey patina frame and backlock plates with English scroll engraving. Walnut stock with checkered butt. Split trigger guard for lever access. Wedge held forend. Engraved on the sides of the action "Charles Lancaster Patent" and on the lockplates "C. Lancaster/London/Patents" in banners. Actions function fine and barrel lock up is good. Bores have pitting. The buttstock is broken around the wrist with a large chip of missing wood on the right side behind the frame. Forend is chipped along the edges. Barrels have turned rust patina with dark spotting overall. Antique., s/n 41xx |
