| 58 Cal; 10% blue, fair bore, good stock, 40'' barrel, Manufactured by Colt F.A. Left side of barrel stamped "E. P. R." and "STEEL". 1864 dated on top of breech and back of lockplate. Eagle motif marked on side of bolster. Side of lockplate is marked "U.S./COLT'S PT F.A. Mfg Co/HARTFORD Ct.". Barrel and fittings in the white. US stamped on top of buttplate tang. Left side of barrel breech stamped with VP proof. Original ramrod present. The metal shows some scattered minor dark spotting. Original walnut stock is over all good with many dings, dents and scratches. left side of the stock flat has "H.L. stamped within a box. Small letter ZL" stamped on the bottom of the grip., |
